Under the group FirstMark, Data Driven NYC is a community of tech and future-business enthusiasts. They have monthly meetings both to hear presentations as well as to network. The focus is to help new startups leverage their data in order to expand the business.Past events are heavily involved in harnessing the power of data, but topics also include Artificial Intelligence, Investing in Big Data, and Storytelling. Numerous high profile companies (Uber, Slack, Accel, Confluent..) are part of the discussions and give insight as to how they have incorporated Big Data into their strategies.
