About:

My LA2050 is a million dollar grants challenge for citizens of the area to share and build their vision for the future of Los Angeles. The project envisions LA as the most civically engaged region the U.S. Grants are rewarded through public voting and a jury panel. They focus on five opportunity areas, Learn, Create, Play, Connect, Live.

Encouraging local citizens to create their own versions of LA in the future, this grant gives the public-at-large visibility on how and where they want to live in the future. From parks, to book reviews, and even biotech education, LA2050 sees benefits to a diverse range of ideas.

LA2050 encourages a shared vision through Open Access, the Sharing Economy, and Urban Development.
